Did you know that it’s possible to make money selling Homestead websites? When I began to search for the answer to my question of “How can I make money with Homestead websites” I soon found the answer with a company called LinkShare. Homestead uses them to promote what is called an affiliate program. In order to sell websites you must sign up with the LiknShare company. At the Homestead Users website you can get connected just follow this…LinkShare sing up To Sell Homestead websites.
Once you register with the company you will have to look in the listing of websites that you can apply to to sell their products. Homestead is one of the companies that they handle all of the affiliate sales for.

How Do I Become An Affiliate For Homestead Websites

It’s really a three step process in becoming an affiliate for Homestead websites. IF you follow these instructions you shouldn’t have any trouble getting signed up for the program.

Here’s how to get banners to place on your website

1)Follow this Linkshare sign up to apply to the program
2)Find Homestead in the list of companies that you can be affiliated with.
3)Apply to become aan affiliate
4)Wait to be approved by Homestead
5)Once approved go to the banners and text link area and get HTML codes

How to place banners on a Homestead website

Log into your LinkShare account and find the banners for Homestead.
Find what is called the “Embed Code.” This is the html code that will be supplied with the banner or text link that you choose. Copy the code so that it can be pasted into your SiteBuilder.

Log in to the SiteBuilder and click on the icon that looks like a sheet of paper with a cross on it, at the top menu area. I believe that it is called “view add page elements.” Scroll down and click on add html. Then to your right, click the tab labeled “Enter html.” Paste the embed code that you copied from LinkShare into the text box. Once you have done this, left click the page and now you can grab the box and move it to where ever you choose. You can enter the size of the banner into the height and width editor to get an accurate size of the box to appear on the screen.

Here’s some important information about selling Homestead websites that you should know. In order to be credited for a sale, the purchaser must prepay for 6 months or more. If they sign up for a free trial when it is over they must convert to a six month commitment. I learned this after I had placed several banners, to sell Homestead websites, on my pages and people started clicking on them. I would look at the statistics inside of LinkShare and see that many people had clicked on them but there were no commissions. When I called Homestead and asked them about it, I was informed that the customers must purchase a six month package or more in order for me to get a commission. I have sense sold several sites and earned $80 per sale. All of these commissions were from friends or customers that I signed up to use the Homestead websites program.

If you want to become an affiliate for Homestead websites and begin making some easy money get signed up with Link Share. Now that you understand how to add an html banner to your pages you can start making some extra cash. I have tried some other companies free trials for building web sites and have found that none really compare to the ease of this program. So because I believe in using it I am successful at selling them.
